Description
This course provides the required basic knowledge of the HIPAA federal laws as well as the Texas laws for healthcare providers and staff. The course addresses key HIPAA topics including cyber risks, data breaches, patient privacy and communications, and electronic patient information.The are 12 required lessons and a final exam. In addition there are topical supplemental reading materials and lessons that can be used as reference materials or for “just in time” learning throughout the year.
